What changes have been recently made to Express Entry?
Changes as of November 16, 2022, we move to the 2021 version of the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
This means that
- The skill type and skill level structure of the NOC 2016 (NOC 0, A, B, C and D) has been replaced by a system of 6 categories representing training, education, experience and responsibility ( TEER) required to work in an occupation
- The 4-digit occupation code becomes a 5-digit occupation code
Eligibility criteria have been updated for all schemes using NOCs.
